I had a wonderful stay at this lodge. The pod I stayed in was cosy, bringing back fond childhood memories of camping in my garden shed. The location was perfect, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities, including showers and kitchen, were clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend staying at this lodge for a nice and enjoyable experience.

Best aspects of my Easter stay
I absolutely loved the beautiful setting of this place. Surrounded by stunning countryside, it was a treat to wake up to such picturesque views every morning. The food at the hotel was also top-notch - delicious and satisfying meals that really hit the spot. Another advantage that I thoroughly enjoyed was the warm and friendly staff. They were always ready to assist and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.
While my overall experience was great, there were a couple of minor downsides. The bathroom light and fan seemed to be on all night, which was a bit distracting.

The place was well equipped, lovely kitchen with all you need, a tv room, a laundry room, a games room, a dining hall - all in a gorgeous setting. The surrounding countryside and scenery was breath-taking when it wasn't in thick fog, but that gave it wonderful atmosphere. Staff were nice and friendly. They helped us with all of our enquiries and we felt very welcomed. The hostel is in an amazing location, quiet and peaceful, with amazing views.
Felt safe, no complaints whatsoever.

Spent my Christmas at a lodge in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The mountains and fields were white with snow, the perfect backdrop to the festivities. The wooden interior of the lodge made for a cozy and warm atmosphere. The kitchen offered everything we needed to prepare a festive feast and the view from the window was just jaw-dropping hilarious.
Some minor complaints are to be expected, but the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough and the internet was a bit spotty. However, the location more than makes up for these little flaws.

This hostel is located in a stunning area with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, providing great service during our stay. We had a fantastic ensuite room with comfortable mattresses, and the bathroom had excellent facilities. the breakfast and packed lunches were delicious, making our day out exploring swaledale even better. the glamping pods were surprisingly cosy and a unique experience.
Some of the guests were not very considerate and left the lounge area in a messy state, which made it unpleasant for morning guests.

The views were stunning and there were plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like walking and cycling. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home straight away. Plus, the self-catering kitchen had a great big fridge where we could store all of our essentials.
The cabins were basic and the shower facilities were cold, which made things uncomfortable. There was no microwave or available kitchen facilities when we arrived late at night, which added to our frustration.

The location of this hostel is fantastic for those exploring the Coast to Coast route. the building itself is nestled among pines, creating a peaceful and outdoorsy atmosphere. Guests have mentioned falling asleep to the wind whistling through the trees, truly immersing themselves in nature. the rooms are warm and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is of a high standard, with appetizing options even for vegetarians. the outdoor shower and toilet facilities are a nice touch, adding to the rustic charm of the place.
Some guests have mentioned that the living room area could use a bit more zest, perhaps in terms of lighting or decor.
